The present invention relates to a power supply unit, including: a driving power supply part which supplies driving power to a load by converting input power; and a power supply control part which detects the variation of a voltage level of the driving power, and controls to block the input power if the detected voltage level of the driving power is equal to or above a pre-established voltage level, in a pre-established standby mode. The power supply unit can reduce standby power remarkably.
