PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner including a heat exchanger which is disposed so as to surround a fan, the disposition part of which has wind-shielding effect, and which has versatility even with respect to change in the size of the air conditioner.SOLUTION: An air conditioner 10 includes: a housing 20 having an air suction port 21 and an air blowout port 22; a heat exchanger 30 disposed at a side of the air suction port 21 and having a fin 332 and a heat transfer tube 331 passing through the fin; and an air blowing fan 13 disposed at a side of the air blowout port 22 and under the lee of the heat exchanger 30. The heat exchanger 30 is disposed so that its upper part is declined to a side of the air blowing fan 13 in a cross-sectional view, and includes a plurality of heat exchanger units 33A, 33B with the same number of steps which are cut off at different positions 35A, 35B and disposed in a row direction so that lower ends 333 are lined up. |
