<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic probe which can satisfy a recent request for miniaturization and improve electric characteristics while expanding a scan range of an ultrasonic element.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic probe 100 includes: an oscillating ultrasonic element 101; an electric circuit 103 to which a probe cable 102 is electrically connected; and a fabric-like cable 104 which electrically connects the ultrasonic element 101 and the electric circuit 103. The fabric-like cable 104 preferably has wire length of less than 80 mm. The fabric-like cable 104 preferably withstands oscillation equal to or greater than 20 million times when the oscillation angle of the ultrasonic element 101 is 60°. The fabric-like cable 104 preferably extends and contracts along the parallel direction of a plurality of electric wires 107. The fabric-like cable 104 includes the plurality of electric wires 107 arranged in parallel and a fiber member 108 woven between the plurality of electric wires 107 along the parallel direction of the plurality of electric wires 107. The fiber member 108 preferably consists of polyurethane elastic fibers.</p> |
