<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent squeeze-out of an insulation coating material from a covered caulking section while an insulation coating part is firmly crimped.SOLUTION: A U-shaped cross section covered caulking section 20 having a bottom plate section 21 and a pair of covered caulking pieces 22 is provided at the rear end of a terminal 1. Under a state where an insulation covered part WB of the terminal of a covered cable W is disposed on the upper surface of the bottom plate section 21, the covered caulking pieces 22 are caulked so as to wrap around the insulation covered part WB. A flat surface 23 for making the insulation covered part WB after caulking and crimping almost a rectangular cross section is formed on the upper surface of the covered caulking pieces 22. Both ends T2 in the horizontal width direction of the flat surface 23 extend outside in the width direction of the positions of right and left ends T1 of the insulation covered part WB after caulking and crimping.</p> |
