A developer storage container (30) comprises a housing (210), a seal member (51), and a reel mechanism (5). A containment space (220) and an aperture part (20H) are formed in the housing. The seal member is pasted upon the housing and seals the aperture part. The reel mechanism peels back the seal member from the housing, and reels up the seal member. The reel mechanism further comprises a cut-out member (58) which cuts out the transmission of rotary drive power of a drive transmission mechanism (5H) by the tension of the seal member which is generated after a first end edge (51U) side of the seal member is peeled back from the housing. |
