A printing management device having: a communication unit capable of connecting to a network; a job storage unit that stores printing jobs; a user verification unit that executes a user verification prior to printing; a printing control unit that causes printing devices to execute printing on the basis of a printing instruction from a user; and an interrupt detection unit that detects an interrupt instruction while a first printing device is executing printing. When an interrupt instruction for the first printing device is detected the printing control unit interrupts the printing and requests that a user verification unit verify the user issuing the interrupt instruction, and after the user has been verified, the printing control unit causes the first printing device to execute printing. |
