An indexed shape graph may be based on a multi-bit trie. An example may include moving from a first vertex of the indexed shape graph to a second vertex of the indexed shape graph along an edge corresponding to a multi-bit prefix of the packet input network address. An offset amount may be added to an index for the packet. The offset amount may correspond to the corresponding to the edge. An output port number for the packet that corresponds to the index may be retrieved.
