PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air purification device and a method of controlling the same that can adjust the smell of air.SOLUTION: A liquid container 8 in which a liquid 9 including a fragrance component is charged is fitted detachably to a circulation tank 4 through a liquid pipe 6. Further, an air purification device has a control circuit part 10 which compares a measured value acquired from an odor sensor 11 with a preset target value, and controls the opening/closing rate of a valve 7 of the liquid pipe 6 so that the measured value approximates the preset target value. Consequently, the smell of air sent out of a gas-liquid contact chamber 1 is adjusted. |
