PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery which uses MoSas a conductive material, and enables the achievement of both of a high level of a battery performance (typified by battery resistance) and a high level of safety; and a method for manufacturing such a nonaqueous electrolyte battery.SOLUTION: A nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery comprises a positive electrode having a positive electrode active material layer, a negative electrode having a negative electrode active material layer, and a nonaqueous electrolyte, which are enclosed in a battery case. The positive electrode active material layer includes granulated bodies each including at least a positive electrode active material, molybdenum disulfide serving as a conductive material, and a binder. |
