<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the convenience of a user during operation.SOLUTION: An electronic device includes: a plurality of detection sections for detecting a contact position of a pointer in contact with a side face of the device and pressure applied from the pointer; a control section for executing processing corresponding to a predetermined operation on the device, on the basis of the contact position of the pointer and the pressure applied from the pointer, which are detected by the detection sections; and a display section for displaying an image corresponding to the processing corresponding to the predetermined operation. The control section changes the amount of change of operation, which is caused by the processing corresponding to the predetermined operation, with respect to a moving distance of the contact position, according to the pressure applied from the pointer.</p> |
