<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric brake device capable of generating a brake force even when electrical failure occurs.SOLUTION: An electric brake device includes: a rotary shaft 14 in which rotation of an electric motor 4 is inputted; an outer ring member 15 supported movably in an axial direction; a planetary roller mechanism 16 for converting the rotation of the rotary shaft 14 into axial direction movement of the outer ring member 15; and a friction pad 3 arranged in an axial direction front side of the outer ring member 15. By the outer ring member 15 pressing the friction pad 3, the friction pad 3 is pressed against a brake disk 1 integrally rotating with a wheel. A pressing mechanism 6 is provided for pressing the rotary shaft 14 to the axial direction front side by an operational force of an operator, and when the rotary shaft 14 is pressed by the pressing mechanism 6, the rotary shaft 14 and the outer ring member 15 integrally move to the axial direction front side and press the friction pad 3.</p> |
