The present invention concerns, in particular, a method for producing preforms, by draping fibres onto a draping surface, which involves conveying at least one dry fibre (91) from a storage and dispensing system to a draping head, and, during the draping, applying a liquid or pasty binder onto said fibre and/or onto the draping surface and/or the surface of the previously draped fibres. Said application is carried out by means of at least one valve nozzle (50) comprising a chamber (51) supplied with pressurised binder and provided with a discharge port (53), and a valve (54) movably mounted in the chamber and actuated by actuating means (55, 56) between a closed position and an open position, said actuating means being controlled by a control system (73) in accordance with the travelling speed of the fibre. |
