<p>The invention relates to an electrochemical micro motor with polymeric gel characterized by a slow step-by-step operation associated to a reduced value of the absorbed current upon starting and nominal operation duty. According to the invention, the micro motor mainly consists of an electrochemical actuator comprising an external tubular electrode (1) and an internal electrode (2), where the electrodes (1 and 2) are concentrically mounted by means of an electrically-insulating support (3) and an electrostatic polymeric gel (4) is placed therebetween, the so-formed recipient being closed by an electrically-insulating piston (5) which is sealed as against the external electrode (1) by a gasket (5'), the piston (5) being integral with an actuating rod (6) provided at its free end with a ratchet (7) acting upon a ratchet wheel (8) which is integrally mounted with a shaft (9) resting on some slide bearings, the wheel advancing, in a preset direction, with a tooth at each actuation of the electrochemical actuator, which is made possible by connecting the said actuator to a direct current source (16).</p> |
