The present invention relates to a camera module including a voice coil motor actuator and an auto focusing method thereof. The camera module includes: a fixing part where a through-hole is formed; a movement part which includes at least one lens and moves in the through-hole of the fixing part linearly; and a driving part for driving the movement part. The driving part may include: a number of magnets which are arranged in an inside of the through-hole; a sensor which senses variation of magnetic flux according to the movement of the movement part by being arranged in the inside of the through-hole of the fixing part; a coil which surrounds the outer circumference of the movement part; and a magnetic flux distortion protrusion which distorts flow of the magnetic flux according to the movement of the movement part by being protruded from the outer circumference of the movement part.
