PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress power consumption of a telephone device.SOLUTION: A telephone device (1) has a telephone set main body (10) and a transmitter/receiver (20). The telephone device has detection means (13, 25) which detects call operation or a dial information transmission operation to the telephone set main body or the transmitter/receiver; first control means (13) which controls the transmitter/receiver so that at least a part of the function of the transmitter/receiver may stop or decrease on condition that the call operation or the dial information transmission operation to the telephone set main body is detected by the detection means; and second control means (25) which controls the telephone set main body so that at least a part of the function of the telephone set main body may stop or decrease on condition that the call operation or the dial information transmission operation to the transmitter/receiver is detected by the detection means. |
