PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continue a periodical imaging function without sacrificing user friendliness.SOLUTION: When a user instruction operation of still picture recording start (shutter button depression) or a user instruction operation of motion picture recording start (REC button depression) is generated and detected during record timing of interval imaging, without interrupting recording by interval imaging, a CPU 21 records a still picture or a motion picture by means of an imaging part 11 in response to the user instruction operation. The CPU 21 stores the still picture or the motion picture recorded by interval imaging and a still picture or a motion picture recorded by the user instruction operation detection in an external memory 18 in a manageable manner so as to utilize them also as material of interval imaging. |
