<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a mobile communication system capable of performing base station changeover without intercepting radio communication, even in the case of using radio whose reception strength drops after the reception strength once rises to strength for enabling radio communication.SOLUTION: A mobile communication system includes a mobile station 1, base stations 2, 3, an access router 5, and a home agent 7. An orientation direction of radio of the mobile station 1 is reverse to a movement direction of the mobile station 1; orientation directions of the base stations 2, 3 are the same as the movement direction of the mobile station 1. When the mobile station 1 being performing radio communication with the base station 2 moves to become communicable with the base station 3, subsequently become in a state in which the radio communication between the mobile station 1 and the base station 3 is intermittent, and then again become communicable with the base station 3; the mobile station 1 performs handover from the base stations 2 to the base station 3 to change over a communication destination of the mobile station 1 from the base stations 2 to the base station 3. Determination whether the radio communication is performed or the radio communication is intermittent is performed on the basis of the presence/absence of reception of a router advertisement or a threshold value of reception signal strength.</p> |
