The object of the invention is a method and a system for decomposition of acoustic signal into sound objects having the form of signals with slowly-varying amplitude and frequency, as well as sound objects and their use. The system for decomposition of acoustic signal into sound objects having the form of sinusoidal waveforms with slowly varying amplitude and frequency, comprising an A/D conversion system, connected to a filter bank with central frequencies of filters distributed according to geometrical distribution is characterised in that each filter (20) is adapted to determine the real value FC (n) and the imaginary value FS (n) of the filtered signal, the filter bank (2) is connected to a system for tracking objects (3), wherein the system for tracking objects (3) comprises a spectrum analysing system (31), a voting system (32) adapted to calculate the value of angular frequency weighted by amplitude, a resolution improvement system (36) adapted to adjust the filter's (20) window and/or to determine the difference between the spectrum of the input signal and the spectrum at the filter bank's (2) output, and/or to determine the difference between the input signal and the signal at the filter bank's (2) output, a system for associating objects (33), a shape forming system (37) adapted to determine characteristic points describing slowly-varying sinusoidal waveforms, a database of active objects (34) and a database of sound objects (35). |
