PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar cell module having high insulating performance between a solar cell module body and a frame body, and a method for manufacturing a solar cell module.SOLUTION: A solar cell module body 100 has at least a translucent substrate 1, a solar cell 2, a sealing material 3, and a back film 4 containing a metal foil. An end face of the back film is at the inner side than an end face of the translucent substrate. A method for manufacturing a solar cell module includes: a mounting step of mounting at least a translucent substrate, a solar cell, a sealing material, and a back film containing a metal foil in this order; a sealing step of sealing the translucent substrate, the solar cell, the sealing material, and the back film; a first removing step of removing the back film so that the back film is at the inner side than an end face of the translucent substrate after the sealing step; and a second removing step of removing a sealing resin on the end face. |
