<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compression device and a decompression device enabling visual recognition of a boundary of divided regions when an image of a processing target is processed on the basis of each divided region.SOLUTION: The compression device includes a plurality of compressors, each corresponding to each divided region in which the image of the processing target is divided, for compressing a pixel value of a pixel in a corresponding divided region. Each compressor independently processes the pixel value of the pixel in the corresponding divided region, and allocates a larger number of bits to a pixel adjacent to another divided region than to a pixel not adjacent to the other divided region.</p> |
