<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress deformation of a front pillar due to the collision of a front wheel with the lower part of the front pillar at the time of vehicle front collision.SOLUTION: In a front pillar structure of a vehicle, a bulk 40 for reinforcement is housed in the lower part of a front pillar body 24 receiving a buffer load via a front wheel at the time of vehicle front collision. The bulk 40 consists of upper and lower lateral plate parts 42, 43 fixed to the front pillar body 24 so as to cross the cylindrical inner space of the front pillar body 24, and a vertical plate part 45 connecting the lateral plate parts 42, 43. The vertical plate part 45 of the bulk 40 is positioned so as to extend in the vehicle longitudinal direction at the substantially center position in the vehicle width direction of the cylindrical inner space of the front pillar body 24.</p> |
