<p>Disclosed are a method and device for sending media data and a set-top box. The method comprises: receiving program playback requests sent by different terminals, the program playback requests comprising display terminal information and program link addresses; acquiring media data corresponding to each of the program link addresses; and sending the media data to a corresponding terminal according to each type of display terminal information. The present invention effectively solves the problem that one set-top box can only provide the same audio and video to different display terminals. In the present invention, one or more types of media data downloaded from a server is transferred to corresponding terminals according to display terminal information of different terminals, so that different terminals can enjoy different programs, individual demands of multiple users are met, and user experience is improved.</p> |
