In this control method for a communication device, a computer in said communication device is made to: acquire, from an information management system, candidate data that indicates dates and times for which tickets are available for booking; extract candidate booking dates and times for said tickets by excluding dates and times for which a user has scheduled plans from the acquired dates and times for which the tickets are available for booking; and display, from the extracted candidate booking dates and times, representations of the candidate booking times in regions corresponding to the respective dates in calendar data. Also, when the selection of a region that corresponds to one of the dates in said calendar data and to one of the representations of candidate booking times is detected, a display is made to display a booking screen on which the candidate booking date and time corresponding to the selected region are used as the date and time for which to book the tickets. |
