The present invention relates to a mobile terminal providing a thumbnail list of images having focus information among stored images when displaying the thumbnail list of the stored images, and to a method for controlling the same. When providing the thumbnail list of the stored images, the thumbnail list related to images which are photographed well by taking the focus well can be provided to a user. The mobile terminal comprises: a display unit; a memory storing two or more images, and focus information related to at least one image of the images; and a control unit.
