PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow one radio base station to acquire radio field intensity with a plurality of a directivity patterns from a radio signal transmitted by one radio terminal by adding a function to the radio base station only without adding a new function to the radio terminal.SOLUTION: A radio base station performs radio communication with a radio terminal and comprises a directivity pattern instruction section, a communication section and a signal processing section. The directivity pattern instruction section designates a plurality of directivity patterns. The communication section receives a delivery confirmation response frame to a search response frame from the radio terminal while receiving the search request frame from the radio terminal and transmitting the search response frame being a response to the search request frame with the plurality of directivity patterns designated by the directivity pattern instruction section to the radio terminal. The signal processing section obtains radio field intensity of the delivery confirmation response frame received for each of the directivity patterns designated.
