The present invention relates to the field of communication systems. Disclosed in an embodiment of the present invention are a pilot signal transmission method and device, capable of expanding the uplink coverage area. The method comprises: first determining a PRB pair with the number of subcarriers less than 12, then carrying pilot signals on the PRB pair, and finally transmitting the PRB pair carrying the pilot signals to a base station; or first determining subframes bearing the pilot signals in uplink subframes and special subframes of TDD wireless frames, and then carrying the pilot signals on the subframes carrying the pilot signals, and carrying a PUSCH on the special subframes of the TDD wireless frames. The present invention is suitable for transmitting pilot signals in a narrow band system. |
