BACK-LIGHT ASSEMBLY, DISPLAY APPARATUS HAVING THE SAME AND METHOD OF FABRICATING THE SAME

A back light assembly includes a light source member, an optical film assembly, a backside receiving container and a mold frame. The light source member generates light. The optical film assembly is arranged on the light source member and improves the characteristic of the light. The backside receiving container includes a bottom plate, a first combination protrusion which protrudes from the edge of the bottom plate and extends in a direction parallel to the protrusion direction, and sidewalls having the first combination grooves to receive the light source member and the optical film assembly. The mold frame is arranged in the backside receiving container and pressurizes the peripheral part of the optical film assembly and includes a second combination groove which extends in a direction parallel to the protrusion direction and is fit into the first combination protrusion and a second combination protrusion fit into the first combination groove. Thus, assembling and processing capability are increased while defects are reduced.
