<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a visual inspection device, etc., with which it is possible to improve the accuracy of defect classification and the accuracy of pass/fail determination along with the use of the device, and to increase the efficiency of a visual inspection process.SOLUTION: A visual inspection device 1 imports, using an image input unit 21, a photographed image of a sheet 3 to be inspected that was photographed by a camera 5, extracts, using a defect candidate extraction unit 23, a defect candidate from an image processed by a preprocessing unit 22, and calculates its feature amount using a feature amount calculation unit 24. A defect classification processing unit 25 compares a classification threshold 43 and the feature amount of the defect candidate to specify the type of defect candidate, and a quality determination processing unit 26 compares a determination threshold 45 and the feature amount of the defect candidate to determine whether the defect candidate is good or bad. When the type of defect candidate is unknown, or when the quality is no good (NG) or unknown, the type or quality is inputted by a worker, the classification threshold 43 or the determination threshold 45 is updated on the basis of the feature amount of the defect candidate, and the updated value is fed back to the visual inspection device 1.</p> |
