PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid droplet discharge device having a mechanism for preventing clog of a nozzle due to air bubbles in liquid such as an ink, and deposition of a solid constituent, and a mechanism for dissolving nozzle clog due to drying of the liquid.SOLUTION: A liquid droplet discharge device comprises: a liquid droplet discharge part 2; a first channel 100 and a second channel 110 for supplying liquid to the liquid droplet discharge part; a first liquid supply part 20 for supplying first liquid to the liquid droplet discharge part; a third channel 120 and a fourth channel 130 for detouring the liquid droplet discharge part; a second liquid supply part 40 for supplying second liquid to the liquid droplet discharge part; and channel opening/closing means 112 installed on the first or second channel.
