PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a gear with teeth, a component mainly to be used in motor cycles, where formation of the gear with teeth is mainly performed by forging.SOLUTION: There is provided a method of manufacturing a gear with teeth by a step involving a horizontal hot forging process using a closed die. Central hole formation and teeth formation is carried out during the forging process. The method is devoid of a step of performing hobbing and deburring processes.
