The present invention relates to a terminal device capable of changing a display method for card contents depending on status information. The terminal device includes: a sensor unit recognizing the status of the terminal device; and a display unit which displays the card-shaped contents based on the information generated by the sensor unit. The display unit selectively displays the contents on the front or rear surface of a card when the terminal device is in a first status. The display unit also displays the contents on the front and rear surfaces of the card at the same time when the terminal device is in a second status.
