PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording method for achieving remote proofing in package printing of printing a color image on a white base by an inkjet system, and to provide a printed matter by the method.SOLUTION: The recording method aims to record a print unit D1 comprising a white solid coating layer W1 and a non-white color pattern layer P1 on a surface of a long film substrate S1 by use of two inkjet printers. The method includes the following processes: (A) on an opaque substrate, a white solid coating layer is provided by a first printer and dried, and a non-white color pattern layer is provided on the dried layer by a second printer; or (B) on a transparent substrate, a non-white color pattern layer is provided by the first printer and dried, and a white solid coating layer is provided on the dried layer by the second printer; or (C) on a transparent substrate, a non-white color pattern layer or a white solid coating layer is provided by the first printer on one surface of the substrate, and a white solid coating layer or a non-white color pattern layer is provided by the second printer on the other surface. |
