PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce an electromagnetic wave absorber with high productivity, which has excellent heat resistance and sufficient electromagnetic wave absorbing performance for a high frequency band exceeding 10 GHz.SOLUTION: A method for producing an electromagnetic wave absorber includes: a step (S1) of forming a molded product from a mixture of a soft magnetic powder, a glass powder, and an organic binder; a step (S2) of heating the molded product in a non-oxidizing atmosphere to decompose the organic binder contained in the molded product, thereby changing the organic binder into carbon; and a step (S3) of softening the glass powder contained in the molded product, and then solidifying it by cooling to fix the soft magnetic powder and the carbon to each other with glass. |
