PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a unidirectional magnetic steel sheet excellent in magnetic properties.SOLUTION: In a method for producing a unidirectional magnetic steel sheet including adjusting components so that a deposit is completely dissolved, heating a slab at a temperature of 1,350°C or less, and nitriding a sheet in a decarburizing annealing step to form an inhibitor, the recrystallization and grain growth are suppressed by keeping the sheet at a low temperature during the finish rolling in hot rolling and also until the coil winding, and when the sheet is subsequently subjected to hot-rolled sheet annealing, it is rapidly heated to thereby achieve the formation of fine recrystallized grains. Thus, in the primary recrystallization texture after cold rolling, the {111}<112> direction generated from the vicinity of a material grain boundary increases, and as a result, the integration degree of the {110}<001> direction secondary recrystallization increases to allow the unidirectional magnetic steel sheet excellent in magnetic properties to be produced. |
