<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric element drive circuit that can drive a piezoelectric element with an optimum amplitude without causing a reduced life of the piezoelectric element. <P>SOLUTION: The piezoelectric element drive circuit comprises: a transformer T for inputting a periodic voltage signal Vin into a primary side and boosting the periodic voltage signal Vin for output from a secondary side; a diode D1 having a cathode connected to a secondary terminal TR4 of the transformer T; a first capacitor C2 having one electrode connected to an anode of the diode D1; a second capacitor C3 having one electrode connected to a secondary terminal TR3 of the transformer T and the other electrode connected to the other electrode of the first capacitor C2; and a piezoelectric element C1 having one electrode connected to a common junction of the secondary terminal TR4 of the transformer T and the cathode of the diode D1 and the other electrode connected to a common junction of the other terminal of the second capacitor C3 and the other terminal of the first capacitor C2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
