<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a falling shock from being transmitted to a substrate housed in an alarm even when the alarm falls. <P>SOLUTION: The alarm 1 includes a substrate 2 on which an electronic component is mounted, a first case 3 for fixing the substrate 2 and a second case 4 which is engaged with the first case 3 to form a casing. The first case 3 includes: a bottom 31, an outer wall 32 erected from the circumferential edge of the bottom 31 and engaged with the second case 4; a housing part 33 formed by the bottom 31 and the outer wall 32 to house the substrate 2; and a projection part 34 which is projected from the bottom 31 to the inside of the housing part 33 to position the substrate 2 so that a first gap 11 is formed between the outer circumference 22 of the substrate 2 and the outer wall 32 through the substrate 2.
