摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress power consumption as much as possible and furthermore to surely prevent a thermal trouble caused by exhaust heat from electronic equipment, in a building housing a number of the electronic equipment such as computers and having a high sealability.SOLUTION: A building such as a data center includes an electronic equipment housing chamber CR where a plurality of racks 3 stored with electronic equipment are installed, and an indoor heat exchanger 51 of an outside cooling type air conditioner is installed above each rack 3. Further, the front part of the building is mounted with a mechanical type air conditioner 11 with an air blowing fan, and a return air aggregating chamber 8 is provided between the electronic equipment housing chamber CR and the mechanical type air-conditioner 11. An air raised in temperature due to exhaust heat from the electronic equipment is cooled by passing through the indoor heat exchanger 51, and then, sent to the return air aggregating chamber 8 from a return air aggregating duct 7, and circulated to the electronic equipment housing chamber CR by the air blowing fan of the mechanical type air conditioner 11. When the temperature of an intake-air of the air blowing fan is high, the compressor of the mechanical type air conditioner 11 is activated to cool the circulating air.
