<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire capable of reducing road noise by cavity resonance, by restraining vibration of air by input from a road surface from being propagated to a wheel shaft. <P>SOLUTION: This pneumatic tire T is provided by arranging lateral grooves 4 extending in the crossing direction with the tire circumferential direction CD on a tread surface. Projections 6 projecting from a tire inner surface 5 are formed inside in the tire radial direction of the peripheral grooves 4. The projections 6 generate turbulent flow vortexes to an air flow of the tire inner surface 5, and the turbulent flow vortexes surely prevent the passing of the vibration of the air generated in a land part, and since the vibration of the air by the input from the road surface can be restrained from being propagated to the wheel shaft, the road noise by the cavity resonance can be reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
