<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make warpage of an optical fiber easily visible from the outside when the optical fiber is attached to an optical connector. <P>SOLUTION: The optical connector 100 to which an optical fiber cable 203 with an optical fiber strand 201 of a prescribed length protruding is to be attached includes: a main body 1 of an almost L-shaped sectional form that has a tip extending in one direction, a base end extending in a second direction almost vertical to the first direction, and a cylindrical ferrule 3 protruding from the tip in the first direction; and cable holding means 2 that can hold the tips 204 of an optical fiber cable 202 at a work position inclined at a prescribed angle ofθ1 to the axis line of the ferrule 3 toward the second direction, and at a use position along the second direction, at the base end of the main body 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
