<p>The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition containing a Polygala tenuifolia extract as an active ingredient to prevent, treat, and alleviate atopic dermatitis as well as a pharmaceutical composition, a dietary supplement composition, a cosmetic composition, and a quasi-drug composition for the same. The composition including the Polygala tenuifolia extract can prevent, treat, and alleviate atopic dermatitis without the side effects caused by the existing treatment of atopic dermatitis.
