<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wet deodorizing apparatus capable of considerably reducing maintenance by effectively restraining the generation of sulfur scale. <P>SOLUTION: The wet deodorizing apparatus 1 includes a deodorizing tower 2 having an inflow port 24 of odorous gas containing a sulfur-based odor component, and an outflow port 21 of deodorized gas; a storage tank 25 storing washing liquid 5; a filling part 23 filling a deodorizing carrier 6 above the inflow port and the storage tank inside the deodorizing tower; an injection part 22 injecting the washing liquid into the filling part below the outflow port and above the filling part inside the deodorizing tower; a first duct 3 connecting the injection part to the storage tank; and a pump 4 for feeding the washing liquid from the storage tank to the injection part. The odorous gas is deodorized by the deodorizing carrier injected with the washing liquid. The wet deodorizing apparatus 1 further includes an oxidation catalyst 7 for oxidizing the washing liquid itself, and oxidizes sulfur contained in the washing liquid 5, even to water-soluble sulfur-containing ions by the oxidation catalyst 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
