The present invention is related to the thermal applications. More particularly, the invention refers to coatings used in metals intended to collect solar radiation or artificial illumination. Said coating improves the efficiency in the collection of solar energy, maximizing the collection of visible light and minimizing the emission of heat in the metal. Described is the process, which includes the composition and obtention of said solar absorbent coating operating in a low and medium temperature ranging from 25°C to 300°C, which may be used in devices that generate heat through solar radiation or artificial light.
