<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving support apparatus configured to prevent a driver from carelessly starting a vehicle.SOLUTION: In a driving support apparatus 100, a receiving device 130 acquires time-series signal information on a lighting state of a traffic light, and a display 114 and a speaker 116 give lighting-time information on the time left before a red light of the traffic light changes. The display 114 and the speaker 116 give the lighting-time information on the time left before a red light of the traffic light changes only when it is clear from the signal information that the signal after the red light permits a vehicle to move. When the traffic light changes from the red light to an arrow traffic light indicating a direction other than an advancing direction, a red-light standby time is not displayed, thereby preventing a driver from carelessly starting the vehicle.</p> |
