<p>The device (D) has a bolt (211) or sliding bolts (110) moved by an actuator. The sliding bolts are placed at ends of an angular path defined by a frame to create an operation zone without locking between the sliding bolts and a locking zone. The locking zone is defined by a space between one of the sliding bolts and one of the ends, so that the bolt does not reach the end and the locking zone in a retracted position of the bolt or sliding bolts. Deployment of the bolt or sliding bolts in the operation zone avoids passage of the bold into the locking zone during operation of a motorcycle (M). An independent claim is also included for a method of operating a steering column locking device of a motorcycle.</p> |
