GATE DRIVER AND DISPLAY APPARATUS HAVING THE SAME

A gate driving circuit includes: a pull-up control unit, a pull-up unit, a carry unit, a first pull-down unit, a second pull-down unit, an inverting unit, and a reset unit. The pull-up control unit applies one of the carry signals in a previous stage to a first node in response to the carry signal in the previous stage. The pull-up unit outputs a clock signals as the n-th gate output signal in response to the signal applied to the first node. The carry unit outputs the clock signal as the n-th carry signal in response to the signal applied to the first node. The first pull-down unit pulls the first node down to a second off voltage in response to one of the carry signals in the next stage. The second ull-down unit pulls the n-th gate output signal down to a first off voltage in response to one of the carry signals in the next stage. The inverting unit generates an inverting signal based on the clock signal and the second off voltage to output the inverting signal to an inverting node. The reset unit outputs a reset signal to the inverting node in response to the reset signal.
