摘要 <p>A filtration membrane system (1) for treatment, specifically cross filtration, of raw sludge consisting of decanter or oil separator heavy phase, sterilizer condensate and possible empty fruit bunches liquor with said system comprises at least one filtration module (2) and housed within a plurality of filtration membrane units (4) with each said filtration membrane unit (4) comprises a filter wall (10) of porous ceramic, a passageway (11), an input end (12) through which raw sludge is fed and subsequently circulated through said passageway (11) and an output end (14). The input end (12) is connected to a lower duct (13) and the output end (14) connected to a upper duct (15) and the casing (16) enclosing the filtration membrane units (4) with a chamber (18) formed between the external surface of said filtration membrane unit (4) and internal wall of said casing (16) and with said casing (16) connected to the discharge ducting (17). A feeding means comprises a feed pump (19) to feed raw sludge to the filtration module (2), a circulation means comprises a circulation pump (22) to circulate the raw sludge fed in and a discharge ducting (17) to discharge the filtrate after filtration are present. For the filtration membrane system (1) to function effectively the size of the pores of the filter wall (10) of each filtration membrane unit (4) is set in the range of 0.01 to 0.10 microns, the flow velocity of the raw sludge along the inner surface of the filter wall (10) of the individual filtration membrane unit (4) designed to be between 2.0 to 4.0 metres per seconds and the filter wall (10) made of ceramic. Additionally the capacity of the circulation pump (22) is selected to be in the range of 8 to 12 times that of the feed pump (19).</p>
