A clutch operator, in particular for actuating a double clutch in the drive train of a motor vehicle, for the optional separating and connecting of two shafts, consisting of a housing (102) which is arranged concentrically about a drive shaft and in which an annular piston (103) is guided, at one end of which piston a first release bearing (107) having a bearing race (108) on the clutch-operator side, a bearing race (109) on the clutch side and rolling bodies is arranged, said release bearing being supported on a clutch spring of a component clutch of the double clutch, and of a second annular piston (105) which has a smaller annular diameter than the first annular piston and is guided concentrically in the housing by the first annular piston and at the end of said second piston a second release bearing (111) having a bearing race (112) on the clutch-operator side, a bearing race (113) on the clutch side and rolling bodies is arranged, said release bearing being supported on a clutch spring of a second component clutch of the double clutch, wherein, in the disengaged state, the release bearings bear against the housing and are prevented there from rotation by means of a frictional connection, and the bearing races on the clutch-operator side are coupled to each other by means of a connection (123) which is stiff in the direction of rotation about the axis of rotation of the drive shaft and is soft in the direction of the axis of rotation of the drive shaft. |
