An arm wrestling machine 101 comprises a bench 102 having a generally planar top member 103 and a supporting framework. A plurality of elongate levers 112-114 are pivotally mounted to the bench 102 at points 201-203. The levers 112-114 have portions 204-206 extending above and lower portions extending below the top member 103. A linkage 216 extends between the lower portions 210-212 of each lever and is configured to transmit force between them. The linkage 216 may be formed of a rigid member. The levers 112-114 may be attached to the bench by means of a pivot pin passing through an aperture of a hub part secured to the bench. When a user applies force to a lever it pivots about points 201-203, the linkage causing all other levers 112-114 to also pivot, thus allowing a team game of arm wrestling. |
