<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a band-shaped iron core piece to be used for a wound laminated iron core that manufactures a plurality of band-shaped iron core pieces from a sheet of thin strip material without interference. <P>SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a band-shaped iron core piece used for a wound laminated iron core 45 comprises: forming band-shaped iron core pieces 11, 12 in multi lines on one strip of a thin strip material 10, the band-shaped iron core pieces 11, 12 consisting of segment iron core pieces 17, 18 having one or a plurality of magnetic pole pieces 15, 16 and connected at connection parts 19, 20; separating the multi-line band-shaped iron core pieces 11, 12 from each other; and sequentially folding the band-shaped iron core pieces 11, 12 at the connection parts 19, 20 to make the wound laminated iron core 45. The multi-line band-shaped iron core pieces 11, 12 are formed with positions of the connection parts 19, 20 arranged in the travel direction of the thin strip material 10, and the band-shaped iron core pieces 11, 12 adjacent to each other in the width direction of the thin strip material 10 are connected to each other with connection members 27.
