In a sweeping device with a swivel joint handle holder (10), the housing part (HP) (24) of which is mounted on a socket part (SP) (22) fixed on the upper side (12) of a sweeping head (14) and is rotatable about an axis (26, 26'), and a notch (88) to lock the HP in a specific rotational position relative to the SP, the SP and HP are of first and second plastics respectively, which do not bond together during injection molding, the HP being permanently held in the SP in shape-fitted manner. Independent claims are included for: (1) a swivel joint handle holder as above; and (2) the production of the swivel joint handle holder, by: (a) injection molding a socket part (SP) (22) of a first plastics in a first cavity; (b) introducing the partially hardened (but already partially dimensionally stable) SP into a second cavity, so that the underside of the SP lies flat on a cavity wall; and (c) producing the housing part (HP) by injecting the second plastics into the second cavity around the SP, so that the HP is permanently held in the SP in shape-fitted manner.
